Chick-peas Soondal


Chick-peas-1 cup

Onion-1 big chopped

Grated coconut-3/4 cup

Urad daal-1/2 tsp

Red chilli-2-3 nos

Mustard seeds-1/4 tsp

Curry leaves-a sprig



Soak channa overnight and pressure cook it.

Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds.Add urad daal,red chilli and curry leaves.Add onion to this mixture and saute until onion is transparent.Add salt and cooked channa and stir for sometime.Add the grated coconut and stir till done.

Its a good snack at tea time :)Enjoy!!!
