Pineapple Pachadi


Pineapple-half of a medium sized pineapple

Grated coconut-1 cup

Mustard seeds-1 tsp

Green chillies-1 no

Sugar-1/4 tsp

Curd-1 cup(or as needed)


For seasoning

Mustard seeds-1/4 tsp

Red Chillies-3 nos

Curry leaves- a few



Cut pineapple into small pieces.Cook it with some water and salt.When the water dries off cool it.Grind the coconut,mustard seeds and green chilli with some curd.Mix this coconut paste with the cooked pineapple.Add needful amount of curd and salt to give it a desired consistancy.

Heat some oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds.Add red chilli and curry leaves.Season pachadi with this mixture.
