Kappa(Tapioca) is one of the special dishes in Kerala.Kappa and meen curry(Tapioca and fish curry) combo is a real soothing to the taste buds.
Kappa(Tapioca)- 2 medium sized
Grated coconut-1 cup
Chilli powder-1 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds-a pinch(crushed)
Mustard seeds-1 tsp
Cut kappa into small pieces and boil it for sometime in water and drain it.Mix kappa with turmeric,water and salt.When it is done and the water dries off add grated coconut along with crushed cumin seeds and garlic and mix well.Check for salt and remove from flame.
Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds.Add the curry leaves and season kappa with this mixture.
